My current truck is a 1997 Isuzu Hombre (essentially a Chevy S10 or GMC Sonoma) that I bought on 2003.01.18 from Huntington Beach Jeep/Hummer. I had been thinking about replacing my old truck with one that had the capacity to pull my car on a trailer should I ever get serious about track-driving it. So, even though I'm not over-fond of automatic transmissions, this truck has one, along with a 4.3L V-6 and 3.42 rear end gears.
I pretty much lucked onto the truck. I spotted the ad on Cars.com the day before and had not even made a firm decision that I was in the market. But the price was good ($8800 out the door), the mileage was low (48600), it had all the necessary equipment mentioned above and I kinda like the color.
